Meet John Howard, CFP®
This month, we’re excited to spotlight one of our outstanding financial advisors, John Howard! With over 40 years of experience as a financial and insurance professional, he has expertly guided his clients through the ever-evolving landscape of investing and benefit programs. - Decades of Expertise: John has been a distinguished professional in the insurance and financial services industry since 1980. We’re proud to have him bring his wealth of expertise and experience to U-Vest Financial®.
- Broad Licenses & Credentials: He is a highly qualified financial professional with life and health insurance licenses in Florida and a Series 7 securities license. John is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), as well as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
- Community Leadership Roles: John, a long-time resident of Tallahassee since 1979, has also served as the past President of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Council. In this role, he spearheaded strategic initiatives to advance estate planning awareness and financial literacy within the community, showcasing his commitment to the betterment of his community!
Apart from his professional and community pursuits, John likes to travel, spend time with family, and watch sports, especially FSU football. A father of eight children (including three adopted) and nine grandchildren, he cherishes moments with them and exploring new destinations. John has visited all 50 states, explored European countries, and embarked on six cruises, relishing in experiences like climbing mountains in Colorado and strolling through Central Park in his favorite city, NYC. Recent highlights include fulfilling bucket list dreams like dining at Berns Steak House and attending the Gatornationals drag race with his sons. Additionally, he finds fulfillment in his Faith, embracing opportunities to serve and spread the message of Jesus!
U-Vest® Sponsors Tornado Relief Tournament/Fundraiser at Capital City Country Club
We had a great time sponsoring the Tornado Relief Tournament at Capital City Country Club in Tallahassee earlier this month. Since May 10, staff and vendors have worked tirelessly to aid the club’s recovery efforts since the recent storms ransacked the city. The fundraiser aimed to support staff members who have been unable to work during the recent challenges and those impacted by the storm while on duty, and it was such a success!
For those of you who participated in this event: Your involvement in this golf tournament was a powerful symbol of solidarity for a business deeply affected by recent events.
