Meet Ryan Petteruti, Financial Advisor!
This month, we’re delighted to spotlight one of our impressive financial advisors, Ryan Petteruti! Ryan has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over a decade and joined our team in 2021, and has since been working primarily with individual families and small business owners to help them manage their financial goals.
“I feel so empowered in my client-facing role, and I love serving our clients.I am so proud to have progressed from an assistant to a leading advisor at U-Vest in such a short time!”
Originally from South Florida, Ryan became an official Tallahasseelocal once he graduated from Florida State University as a double Nole, with his Master’s Degree in Accounting and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance. He is the treasurer at Capital City Country Club, one of Tallahassee’s most historic golf clubs, and the secretary of the Italian American Club of Tallahassee, where he enjoys celebrating his Italian heritage and culture. He also serves on the Men of Good Shepherd Catholic Church committee, where he fundraises by organizing monthly community events for the church.

In his free time, Ryan adores spending time with his beautiful girlfriend Rebecca, as well as his two nieces, Harper and Riley, with whom he looks forward to spending quality time on a family mountain trip in October and a Disney trip in December. Ryan loves spending time outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, cheering on the Noles, playing golf, or softball, and he even shot his best career score of 76 at Capital City Country Club this year.
September is also College Savings Month and Life Insurance Awareness Month!
Here are some additional updates from our U-Vest Financial® team:
- Our CEO, Michael P. Davino, CFP, was selected on the Forbes list for Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors, Best-In-State for Florida! This list features 1,621 top professionals born in 1985 or later who manage nearly $2.8 trillion in assets cumulatively. Congratulations, Mike!
- In light of the recent events surrounding the stock market, we saw disappointing Q2 corporate reports from several high-profile technology names, along with discouraging news from Federal Chair Powell about short-term interest rates. Following this was confusion from the Japanese market, other international issues, and uncertainty regarding the upcoming election. And just like that, stock prices pulled back. However, remembering that volatility is part of the investing process may be helpful. Investors should expect pullbacks of 3 percent more than seven times a year and at least once yearly (since 1928), and investors should be prepared for a 10 percent correction. From a historical perspective, recent market activity isn’t as abnormal as one might think. Though it is uncomfortable when stock prices fluctuate, financial media can often make the day’s events seem more overwhelming and dire than they are - call us anytime to express your concerns and discuss investing strategy!
