This full-support model is popular with experienced advisers: Everything is taken care of for you. This model includes:
- Office space
- E&O insurance coverage
- Health insurance (includes family), 401(k) with match and profit-sharing, and disability benefits
- An assigned, licensed staff member (Series 7, 66, and FL 2-15) to assist with paperwork, orders and processing
- The earning power of a large team
- Wide array of managed investment platforms, annuity and life providers
- Marketing and branding
- Broker, licensing and technology fees covered by U-Vest™ Financial

This model works best for advisers who have their own office space and includes all of the above benefits except office space and health, disability and 401(k) benefits. (Even this can be tailored though, depending on the compensation model chosen.)

This model is meant for advisors who may not be happy with where they are right now – whether that be due to compensation, lack of ownership in their practice or lack of support – but who want to continue to fully run their own shop. Independent partners:
- Work directly with Waddell & Reed Inc. but have the support of U-Vest™ Financial so they are not changing firms alone
- Have their own office space (or rent space in our office) and manage and pay their own expenses
- Make their own brand, own their practice and have full control
